Model History
The M02 is one of Armand Nicolet's longest-running and most recognizable collections, developed over time into a very wide range of variants — more than forty different executions grouped under the M02 A, M02 C and M02 L sub-lines — with complications ranging from a simple three-hand day/date to a full calendar, a chronograph and a GMT. The design recalls retro-inspired elegant watchmaking, with a rounded, "stepped" bezel that gives the dial visual depth.
In more recent years the collection has been updated by the brand: a slightly reduced, more ergonomic case (now 41 mm in diameter, 11.9 mm thick), new movement options and an open case back showing the Sellita SW200 calibre with a custom Armand Nicolet rotor — an update meant to bring the line closer to contemporary taste without giving up the classic character that has always set it apart.
The M02 C, one of the most representative executions, features a minimalist dial with a gradient finish (from light brown at the center to near-black brown at the edges), thick luminescent hands with a counterweight on the seconds hand, and — an unusual detail for such an essential design — a white date window.

Main Sub-Lines
With more than forty different executions gathered under a single collection, the M02 functions almost like a small catalogue within the catalogue: the same elegant base design is declined into very different complications, from an essential three-hander all the way to a chronograph with a calendar.
