Roadmaster M Model A
Model History
Announced in October 2024 as part of the Roadmaster collection, the Model A brings a rare and technically complex complication to the wrist: a genuine precision mechanical alarm, paired with a quick-set GMT second time zone hand and a 24-hour graduated ceramic bezel for reading a third time zone. The combination of functions — not just an alarm, but a fully functioning mechanical alarm plus GMT — is rare even in fine watchmaking, where mechanical alarms remain a niche complication.
At the heart of the model is the patented "AlarmMATIC" system, which abandons the traditional dome gong in favor of a metal ring gong protected by a specially developed outer polymer layer: this dual-material construction isolates the higher frequencies while also acting as a shock-resistant system. The precisely calibrated, single-piece hammer produces a sound described as similar to a school bell, clearer and more powerful than traditional mechanical alarms, lasting around 18 seconds.
The crown at 4 o'clock, dedicated entirely to the alarm, allows it to be set, wound and silenced in five-minute increments. The black dial, with its 29 "rainbow"-colored gas microtubes on the hands and indices, ensures full legibility even in the dark — consistent with the brand's technical identity — while the 41 mm case in 904L steel, produced in a limited run of 333 pieces, underscores the model's special-piece nature.

Main Executions
The AlarmMATIC's alarm gong isn't dome-shaped, as in nearly all mechanical alarm watches, but ring-shaped, coated in a polymer that isolates its higher frequencies: a construction specifically designed to produce a sound closer to a real bell than the typical metallic buzz of mechanical wrist alarms.
