Model History
The BR 03 was born as a direct evolution of the BR 01, with the declared aim of making the brand's square language better suited to everyday wear: the same general layout — a circular dial in a square case — but reduced to 42 mm, designed to fit better on medium-sized wrists without giving up the visual impact that made the original design famous.
Over time the BR 03 has become the true "heart" of the Bell & Ross Instruments catalogue: the platform on which the brand has built the range's most minimalist and essential executions, such as the Horoblack and Nightlum series, watches with a bare dial designed down to the smallest detail to ensure maximum legibility in any light condition, alongside thematic variants tied to aviation, such as models with counters inspired by flight instruments.
Building on the BR 03, in 2017 Bell & Ross also introduced an underwater variant — the BR 03-92 Diver — bringing the brand's square layout for the first time into a technical context other than aviation, with a graduated rotating bezel and reinforced water resistance.

Main Executions
The BR 03-92 Diver, presented in 2017, was described by the trade press as the first square-shaped dive watch made by Bell & Ross: an experiment that showed how the brand's "cockpit instrument" layout could work even far from the aviation context that had originated it.
