Model History
If the BR 01 and BR 03 tell the brand's "cockpit instrument" soul, the BR V2 represents the other face of Bell & Ross: that of the Vintage collection, launched to bring back into the light the brand's less visible heritage, tied to pilot and naval military watches produced in the mid-twentieth century. Unlike the square lines, the BR V2 adopts a round case, with softer shapes, a graduated rotating bezel and a graphic layout that directly recalls the flight and navigation instruments of that era.
Presented in its "Steel Heritage" guise with a matte black dial and skeletonized indices and hands coated in a Super-LumiNova® with a characteristic "aged" color, the BR V2 explicitly plays the card of historical patina: a watch designed to look as though it truly came out of a military depot decades ago, while fitted with components and finishes of current production.
Around the BR V2 the brand has over time built an entire family of thematic variants — from chronograph executions to series inspired by the French naval military (Aéronavale), to "Bellytanker" models, dedicated to the speed-record cars born by repurposing the drop tanks of World War II aircraft — thereby expanding the Vintage collection's historical narrative well beyond aviation alone.

Main Executions
Some "Bellytanker" variants of the BR V2 family take their name from the postwar American speed-record cars built by repurposing the drop tanks ("belly tanks") of World War II fighter planes: an unusual historical reference, which widens the Vintage collection's narrative from military aviation to the world of land speed racing.
