CK Gauge
Model History
Alongside the more markedly minimalist lines, the Calvin Klein catalogue has always reserved space for a more technical, sportier proposal, designed above all for a male audience: this is where Gauge fits in, a chronograph with a larger case and a more structured dial than the Minimal or Iconic models, while still keeping the sober approach typical of the brand.
The name itself, which in English refers to a measuring instrument or a control dial, evokes the model's technical approach: three counters dedicated to chronograph functions, essential indices, steel case with ion-plated treatment available in various colors, from grey to green. Also setting Gauge apart from the catalogue's more affordable lines is the use of sapphire crystal instead of the more common mineral crystal, a detail that places it in a slightly higher price bracket.
Like the rest of the catalogue, Gauge also went through the license transfer from Swatch Group to Movado Group, remaining available in the brand's men's range even after the 2021-2022 relaunch: confirmation that the sporty-chronograph component is considered, alongside the minimalism of the more essential lines, one of the stable pillars of the Calvin Klein watch offering.

Main Executions
The name "Gauge" — an instrument for measurement — is consistent with the dial's graphic approach, built around three counters that visually evoke the dashboard of a technical instrument more than the essential dial the brand was born with: a small stylistic departure from the minimalism of the other lines, justified by the model's sportier nature.
