CK Iconic
Model History
In 2019 Swatch Group announced that, after twenty-two years of collaboration, the license for producing Calvin Klein watches would not be renewed. In August 2020 PVH Corp., the brand's owner, signed a new global agreement with Movado Group — already holder of watch licenses for brands such as Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Ermenegildo Zegna — for the production and distribution of Calvin Klein watches and jewelry.
January 2022 marks the launch of the first collection made under the new management, presented by Movado Group as an interpretation of the brand's "sensual and edgy" DNA. Iconic was born in this context as one of the central lines of the renewed catalogue: a double-layer dial with the CK acronym clearly visible, Milanese mesh bracelets available in various ionic-plated finishes — from steel to rose gold — and an accessible price positioning compared to other proposals in the Calvin Klein catalogue.
More than a standalone collection in the traditional sense, Iconic represents the way Movado Group chose to reinterpret for the present the minimalist legacy the brand has carried since 1997: compact cases, clean dials, light metal bracelets, offered in men's, women's and sizes the brand itself defines as "unisex".

Main Executions
Iconic was the first Calvin Klein collection made entirely by Movado Group after the license transfer: its launch, in January 2022, symbolically marked the end of an era — that of Swatch Group, which lasted twenty-two years — and the beginning of the current one, with an advertising campaign that in subsequent years also involved well-known faces from international fashion.
