Collection History
The Megamatic is the model with which Crepas takes its professional diving vocation to the extreme: an imposing 55 mm case, designed to guarantee pressure resistance down to 1200 meters, well beyond the needs of sport diving and closer to the standards of saturation instruments.
The design openly recalls the great professional divers of the past — the references most cited by enthusiasts are Omega's 1970s saturation diving models — with a wide rotating bezel, broad and easily legible indexes, and an oversized crown designed to be operated even while wearing diving gloves.
Produced in limited, numbered runs, the Megamatic has over the years become one of the brand's most sought-after models among collectors, helped by the choice of a solidly built Swiss automatic movement, the ETA 2824, a guarantee of mechanical reliability.

The generous dimensions and declared resistance depth bring the Megamatic closer to professional saturation watches than to common sport divers, a rare positioning for a brand of Crepas's size.
