Collection History
Introduced in 2010, Premium is the line with which Dugena wanted to more explicitly underline its heritage as a historic watch manufacture, offering alongside its quartz models — starting at 139 euros — a sub-collection of numbered mechanical watches produced in limited runs, with a starting price of 565 euros.
The mechanical models in the Premium line use different calibers depending on the reference: from the manual-winding PUW 561 (an 11 1/2-line caliber, similar in diameter to bases such as the Miyota 8205 or the ETA 2824-2, with a lever escapement running at 21,600 vibrations per hour) up to more widespread automatic bases such as the ETA 2824-2 and Unitas calibers.
With Premium, Dugena aimed at an audience of enthusiasts more attentive to the mechanical component than the Classic models or the quartz references in the general catalogue, while still keeping the accessible price positioning that has always characterized the brand.

Main Executions
The manual-winding PUW 561 caliber used on some Premium references shares its diameter with well-known bases such as the Miyota 8205 and the ETA 2824-2, despite being a manual rather than automatic movement.
