Gc (Guess Collection)
Line History
Gc, short for "Guess Collection," was launched in 1997 by Paul Marciano as a sub-line distinct from the main Guess watch catalog. The brand's stated goal was to offer a more refined proposition, with a deliberately more European identity, aimed at an audience willing to spend more than the customers of the base Guess line.
Over the decades the line has developed its own aesthetic language, often communicated under the claim "Gc Swiss Timepieces," drawing on more refined materials — higher-grade steel, ceramic, crystals — and a design the brand describes as "urban, distinctive and seductive." In 2022 Gc celebrated its 25th anniversary with a capsule collection that included pieces such as the Gc Muse Ceramic, in black ceramic with a mother-of-pearl dial, and the Gc Flair Limited Edition, in rose gold tones with multicolor crystals on the bezel.
The current Gc catalog includes chronographs (such as the Gc One Chrono line), sporty models and mid-size formats suited to both men and women, with a price positioning of roughly 400 to 700 dollars — markedly above the average of the main Guess line, confirming Gc's role as the brand's "premium" offering.

Main Executions
Although "Gc" is simply the acronym for "Guess Collection," the brand presents it almost as a standalone label, with packaging, communications and points of sale often distinct from those of the main Guess line — a choice that reinforces the perception of a more exclusive range.
