Snow Star
Collection History
The Snow Star was born in the 1940s with a purpose far from glamorous: to equip US Navy pilots with a watch to carry in their survival kits, valuable items to be used for bartering in case of a forced landing in hostile territory. A practical, military role which, over time, has become the most frequently told chapter of Milus's history, and the starting point the manufacture chose for its own relaunch.
In 2019, the brand's centenary year, Milus brought the Snow Star back to market as part of the ICONIC collection, keeping the historic name and the direct reference to the original watch but with a contemporary reading: a more compact case, a modern automatic movement and particular attention to the dial's rendering, which the brand describes as able to "capture the light" with a sunray finish that changes appearance with every movement of the wrist.
The current range offers four dial colorways — Sky Silver, Ice Blue, Boreal Green and Night Black — along with more refined versions such as the Supreme 904, in highly corrosion-resistant 904L steel, and a special edition made in collaboration with the Swiss cutlery brand Swiza. Beyond its variants, the Snow Star remains today the collection that best sums up Milus's identity: an American military legacy told by a small independent Swiss manufacture.

Main Executions
The historic watch that gave the collection its name was not meant to be worn and admired, but to be potentially traded: it was part of genuine "survival kits" issued to US Navy pilots, along with other valuables, to be used as bartering goods in enemy territory.
