Collection History
Compared to the generous proportions of the 51-30 Chrono, the Sentry represents the more balanced proposal in the Nixon catalogue, with a 316L stainless steel case of 42 mm that enthusiasts consider a "standard" size for a sports watch, suited to more versatile everyday use.
The movement is a Miyota quartz, described by reviewers as accurate as most Japanese quartz movements in this category, paired with a mineral crystal that has a reinforcement treatment — an improvement over the standard mineral fitted on other models in the Nixon range.
With a water resistance of 100 meters, considered a notable spec for a watch that is not built as a dedicated diver, Sentry is also available in a chronograph version, keeping the same case design and materials.

Main Executions
The mineral crystal fitted on the Sentry receives an additional reinforcement treatment compared with standard mineral: a middle ground between plain mineral and the more expensive sapphire.
