Freedom 60
Collection History
Freedom 60 is the line with which Norqain looks back at the history of sports watchmaking, in particular the instrument chronographs of the 1960s, to reinterpret their aesthetics in a contemporary key. The brand describes it as a "free-spirit sports watch": robust steel cases, domed dials with tachymetric scales and three-window counters, designed to recall the racing and adventure chronographs of that decade without giving up current technical standards.
The mechanical heart of the collection is the N19 caliber, based on a Sellita SW510a base and customized for Norqain, with a chronograph function and a 62-hour power reserve; some more recent executions instead adopt the NN20/2 manufacture caliber, developed with Kenissi, which brings the power reserve up to 70 hours. A GMT variant broadens the range with a second hand for a second time zone, while maintaining the line's vintage-sporty setup.
Freedom 60 also stands out for a playful approach to special editions, such as the "Enjoy Life" series with cream or pastel-colored dials, aimed at a younger, less formal audience, consistent with Norqain's overall positioning as a young, independent and accessible Swiss brand compared to the great historic manufactures.

The collection's name combines the appeal of freedom ("Freedom") with a reference to the 1960s, a decade the brand explicitly looks to for the aesthetics of its dials and cases: a stylistic exercise that coexists, in the same watch, with calibers and materials developed to current standards.
