Gentleman
Model History
The Gentleman represents, together with the Firshire, Paul Picot's most classic soul: a line of round watches with contained proportions, designed for formal everyday use rather than technical display, and for this reason one of the most accessible entry points to the brand's catalogue over time. The base version, the Gentleman 40, offers a 40 mm diameter with a mechanical automatic movement and a deliberately sober dial, without the elaborate complications that instead characterize lines such as the Atelier or the Technicum.
Over the years the line has also taken on chronograph executions, grouped under the name "Gentleman Le Chronographe", which add a chronograph counter to the classic case while still keeping a measured aesthetic, often with the two-tone "panda" dial dear to the tradition of vintage chronographs. The Gentleman has also been the vehicle for some limited-edition special editions tied to themes dear to the brand, including an execution dedicated to the Savoia-Marchetti seaplane, part of the thread of tributes to Italian industrial and sporting history that Paul Picot has cultivated on several occasions.
Compared with more recent lines more oriented toward a sporty positioning, such as the Yachtman Club, the Gentleman remains the collection that best tells the brand's "dress" soul: a watch designed to accompany a formal wardrobe, in which the quality of the finishing and the legibility of the dial matter more than any technical or sporting reference.

Main Executions
The Gentleman's special editions tied to themes such as the Mille Miglia or Italian historic aviation show how much, despite its Swiss production base, Paul Picot has always cultivated a very close narrative bond with its reference market and with Italian industrial history, channeled through its historic distribution base in Valenza.
