Model History
Presented in 2013, the Revelation is born as the most unusual proposal in that year's Rotary catalog: a watch whose case can be rotated on a hinged mechanism and locked firmly into two distinct positions, each time revealing a different dial, each driven by its own independent Swiss quartz movement. The concept, awarded WatchPro Trendsetting Watch of the Year 2013, has made the Revelation one of the most recognizable design ideas produced by the brand in recent years.
The idea behind the line is that of "two faces": a dial designed for day and one for night, with contrasting looks — typically one lighter version and one darker — meant to accompany different registers of the day or simply to offer two personalities in a single watch. By rotating the case, the wearer switches from one to the other without having to change watches.
Over time the Revelation line has been offered in various finish and strap variants, while keeping unchanged the construction principle that sets it apart: the reversible double-dial case, a mechanism that places Rotary — together with a limited number of other brands known for similar solutions — among the small group of makers that have explored the idea of the "two-faced" watch for a mass audience.

The collection's name, "Revelation", plays directly on the gesture that defines its use: by rotating the case, the hidden dial is literally "revealed" to whoever is looking at the watch, a design idea meant more to surprise than to meet a technical need.
