Ocean One
Model History
The Ocean One is the diving collection that, more than any other, helped build Steinhart's reputation among enthusiasts. The sources consulted place its debut in the mid-2000s, without however giving a precise, unambiguous launch date: we note this explicitly, since it was not possible to verify an exact year. The flagship model, the Ocean One Diver 42 mm with black dial, openly draws on the language of the most celebrated Swiss diving watches of the second half of the 20th century — above all the Rolex Submariner and the Omega Seamaster — offering a sturdy case, a unidirectional rotating bezel and extensive use of luminescent material, at a much lower price than the models that inspire it.
Over the course of almost two decades the line has expanded while staying faithful to its initial setup. The Ocean One Vintage variant arrived, openly taking up the proportions and look of the 1955 Rolex ref. 6200 (case enlarged from 35 to 42 mm, "Old Radium" luminescence, black aluminum bezel); ceramic bezels were added, a GMT module for a second time zone, the more vintage-styled 39 mm case (Ocean 39, with nods to the Explorer look) and titanium executions, able to reach stated water resistance of up to 50 ATM. In 2026 a redesign called "Nova" was also presented, with more curved lugs, a slimmer case middle and glossier dial finishing.
From a technical standpoint, the line has always relied on Swiss automatic movements of ETA or Sellita base (2824-2 / SW200-1, with higher-grade variants such as the ETA 2893-2 or SW330-2 for the GMT versions), 316L steel or titanium cases and domed sapphire crystal: a combination that, together with the brand's direct online sales, has made the Ocean One one of the most cited references among accessible "homage" diving watches.

Main Executions
The Ocean One remains Steinhart's own personal reinterpretation and not a collaboration or license with the historic brands that inspire it: the resemblance to the Submariner/Seamaster language is stated by the manufacturer itself as a source of inspiration, not as an official partnership with Rolex or Omega.
