History of the collection
With the brand's relaunch led by the Brunet family, ZRC added to the "modern" Grands Fonds a line designed explicitly for collectors most attentive to historical accuracy: the Heritage. The stated aim is to return to the original dimensions of the first 1960s Grands Fonds, smaller and more compact than today's standards for professional divers.
The case thus returns to a 39 mm diameter, compared with the 40-42 mm of the other references in the range, while keeping the distinctive crown at 6 o'clock and the rugged construction typical of the brand. The dial is simplified, with cleaner dot and dash indices than previous versions, while the bezel gains a more legible scale with numerals every ten minutes; the hands are also slimmer than on the "full" Grands Fonds models, for a more elegant result that also suits everyday wear out of the water.
Over time the Heritage has gained more dial colours — from black with gilt details to blue with a "Pepsi"-style two-tone bezel — while staying anchored to the same 300-metre water resistance and the same philosophy of a true diver's watch, not a mere aesthetic homage.

Main versions
By returning to 39 mm, the Heritage recovers the proportions of the very first Grands Fonds of 1960, even before the French Navy asked ZRC to move the crown to 6 o'clock in 1964: a way of telling, through the case dimensions, a specific and lesser-known phase of the brand's history.
