Aquascaphe

The diver that became the brand's best-selling line

Model History

Opened for pre-order in November 2018, about a year after the HMS and Bicompax debut, the Aquascaphe reinterprets 1960s-70s European dive watches. Its name echoes "bathyscaphe," and the model went on to become the brand's best-selling line.

Compact proportions are rare among vintage-inspired divers, yet the Aquascaphe keeps a double-domed sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown for genuine dive-watch credentials. Across its generations the line has evolved into the current Aquascaphe MK2, with new dial and strap variants, plus an Aquascaphe GMT variant featuring a bidirectional bezel.

Throughout these generations the design has kept a consistent step-case construction, a 120-click sapphire bezel, and Super-LumiNova lume — hallmarks that have remained constant even as dial colors and case sizes were refined.

Fun Fact

The name references the "bathyscaphe," the deep-sea exploration vessel famous for the record dives made by Auguste and Jacques Piccard.
