Model History
The Endurance Pro is presented in 2020 as the direct heir of Breitling's "Professional" family, the line of high-precision quartz instruments — which in the past had also included models such as the Aerospace and the Emergency — designed since the 1980s for truly instrumental rather than purely aesthetic use. Unlike most of the Breitling catalogue, built around COSC-certified mechanical movements, the Endurance Pro bets everything on quartz's near-absolute precision, addressing explicitly an audience of endurance athletes — triathletes, marathon runners, outdoor sports enthusiasts — more than the traditional collector.
The technical heart of the line is the Breitlight case, a high-resistance polymer composite developed in-house by Breitling, which in the 44 mm version brings the watch's total weight down to just 62 grams: an extraordinarily low value for a case of that diameter, designed not to weigh down the wrist during prolonged sporting activity. The dial integrates functions designed specifically for endurance training, such as a pulsometer scale for calculating heart rate and a countdown timer useful for triathlon transitions or pacing during endurance races.
Compared with Breitling's other collections, historically tied to aviation or diving, the Endurance Pro thus represents a special case: a line born not from a decades-long historic legacy but from a precise contemporary need, that of offering a lightweight, hyper-precise, low-maintenance sports instrument, while maintaining the same "instrumental" approach that has always distinguished the brand since the motto "Instruments for Professionals".

Main Executions
The SuperQuartz B82 calibre powering the Endurance Pro is described by Breitling as ten times more precise than a common quartz movement, with a declared deviation of just 0.07 seconds per day: a level of precision no mechanical movement, however refined, can realistically match.
