Dietrich
Brand History
Dietrich was founded in 2010 in Besançon, France — a city historically tied to French watchmaking — by Emmanuel Dietrich, born in 1969, who launched the brand after seventeen years working as a designer for major watch houses.
The brand's philosophy draws on the German concept of "Gestalten", which denotes the act of shaping and giving concrete form to a creative idea: Dietrich offers watches with clean lines and recognizable design, conceived as tools for personal expression more than simple timekeepers.
Over the years the catalogue has alternated sculptural-design collections such as Organic Time (since 2013) with more sporty offerings featuring an integrated bracelet such as Time Companion (since 2017), up to contemporary reinterpretations of classic archetypes like the diver, with the Skin Diver line launched in 2021.
