Vintage Rally Healey
Line History
The collaboration between Frédérique Constant and Austin-Healey was born in 2004 and fits into a broader relationship the Geneva brand has held for years with the world of classic car rallies: from its role as official timekeeper of events such as the Peking to Paris Motor Challenge and the Carrera Panamericana, carried out for more than seventeen years, grew a stated affinity between the two brands, founded on shared values — a passion for "beautiful cars", precision, the celebration of timeless design, the meeting of leather and metal. From this affinity the Vintage Rally Healey line took shape, renewed by the brand every two years with new dedicated executions.
The collection's distinctive feature is its chromatic and stylistic faithfulness to historic Austin-Healey cars: the dials draw on shades directly inspired by the bodywork of the most celebrated models, from the green "British Racing Green" — a color that recalls the Austin-Healey 100S and, in particular, the legendary racing car NOJ393 — to shades of "Healey" blue inspired by the Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BM7. In 2022, to mark Austin-Healey's seventieth anniversary, Frédérique Constant dedicated to the occasion a limited edition of the Vintage Rally Healey Chronograph in precisely the green colorway linked to NOJ393, making explicit the connection between that single historic car and the watch.
The line today spans several formats and complications, while keeping an underlying stylistic consistency made of vintage-styled leather straps, measured case proportions and understated dials: offerings range from automatic time-only models, intended as an entry point to the collection, to date-equipped versions, up to the two-pusher chronograph with display case back, the line's most technical and refined execution, enriched by numbered limited editions marking significant anniversaries of the partnership.

Main Executions
The green chosen for several executions of the collection is not a generic textbook "British Racing Green", but is specifically inspired by NOJ393, the Austin-Healey 100S racing car that became legendary in the 1950s: a detail that turns the dial's color into a precise historical reference, recognizable only to those who know the story of that particular car.
