Antarès
Line History
Launched in 2006, the Antarès was born as Herbelin's response to a specific need among female customers: being able to change the look of their watch without owning several. At the heart of the line is a patented attachment system that allows the strap to be unclipped and replaced without tools, freely pairing the same case with straps that differ in material, color and style, in a way similar to a fashion accessory.
Over the years the range of cases has expanded to different shapes — round, curved, rectangular — often paired with mother-of-pearl dials and, in the more precious versions, indexes or bezels set with diamonds. At the same time the range of interchangeable straps has also grown: leather in numerous finishes and colors (from nappa to alligator, crocodile, iguana or python effect), Milanese mesh and rigid steel bangles, also available in a double-wrap version.
Conceived from the outset as a line dedicated entirely to a female audience, the Antarès has established itself over the years as one of the longest-running collections in the Herbelin catalog alongside the Newport, with a different and complementary positioning: not a sports watch, but an accessory to be customized according to the outfit or the occasion.

Main Executions
The Antarès's strap attachment system is patent-protected: a choice that reflects the brand's intention to treat women's watches as a modular accessory, to be paired with the day's look, rather than as an instrument with fixed characteristics.
