Montecristo
Line History
Born in the late 1990s, the Montecristo collection takes its name from the eponymous island of the Tuscan archipelago, today an uninhabited nature reserve, which is visible on clearer days from Locman's offices in Marina di Campo, on the island of Elba, thanks to its unmistakable conical mountainous silhouette. The brand describes this geographical link as a direct source of inspiration, rather than a literary reference.
Over time the Montecristo has become the most representative collection in the Locman catalog, the one the brand itself calls the "symbol" of its pioneering spirit: a declared balance between elegance and sportiness, expressed through steel and titanium cases that combine strength and lightness, and through attention to detail designed for everyday use.
Over the years the line has been organized into several versions, from the quartz chronograph of the Classic Crono to the 500 Metri with a Swiss-made automatic movement and high water resistance, through skeletonized variants and a women's version: an expansion that has allowed the Montecristo to remain at the center of the catalog while adapting to different uses and needs.

Main Executions
The island of Montecristo that gives the collection its name is today a fully protected, uninhabited nature reserve: although it cannot be freely visited, its conical silhouette remains visible on the horizon from Locman's headquarters in Marina di Campo, a direct link between the territory of Elba and the name of the brand's most representative watch.
