LAB 01
Collection History
While the Snow Star and the Archimèdes look to Milus's historic archive, the LAB line was born in 2019 — the brand's centenary year — with the opposite goal: to tell what Milus can be today, with no direct reference to a model from the past. The name itself, "LAB", evokes a laboratory for aesthetic experimentation more than a collection meant to fit into an established stylistic path.
The LAB 01's distinguishing feature is its exposed fiberglass dial, an unusual material for a watch in this price tier: the weave of the composite fabric remains visible and is slightly irregular from one piece to another, giving each watch a tactile as well as visual texture that is individually recognizable — an aesthetic Milus describes as a "sophisticated minimalism" inspired by contemporary urban architecture rather than by traditional watchmaking iconography.
The collection is offered in three essential colorways — Concrete Grey, Street Black and Sky Blue — names that evoke the language of industrial design more than that of classic jewelry, and it sits in the most accessible tier of the Milus catalog: an entry point designed for a younger audience less tied to the classic codes of Swiss watchmaking, while still maintaining Swiss Made production at the Biel/Bienne manufacture.

Main Executions
Unlike the lacquered or galvanized dials more common in classic watchmaking, the LAB 01's fiberglass is not refinished to even out its appearance: the slight variations in weave from one piece to another are deliberately left visible, making each dial — in the brand's own stated philosophy — a piece with a slightly unique texture.
