History of the line
The Airmaster debuted in 1969, the year of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, a time when aviation and space imagery shaped the language of many sports watches of the period. Titoni presented it as a steel men's watch with a sporty-elegant character, powered by an ETA 2452 automatic calibre with date.
The dial of the first version stood out for its pearl-grey finish, polished applied indices and a minute track with luminous dots every five minutes; the caseback bore the plum blossom, the emblem Titoni had adopted in the 1950s and which still identifies the Grenchen manufacture today.
In the decades that followed, the Airmaster did not substantially change its design language — applied Roman numerals, sun-brushed dial, restrained proportions — and it was precisely this continuity that made it the best-selling model in the brand's history, with total sales estimated in the millions over more than fifty years. Current versions are offered in steel or gold, with black, silver or white dials, simple date or day-date, powered by Sellita SW200-1 and SW240 automatic calibres.

Titoni describes the Airmaster as its best-selling model ever, with volumes estimated in the millions over more than fifty years of almost uninterrupted production: a rare case of a watch that, since its 1969 debut, has changed its design language very little.
