Line History
Form is the third major collection in the current Junghans catalogue, alongside Max Bill and Meister, and represents the most recent and contemporary interpretation of the brand's aesthetic identity. If Max Bill preserves almost intact the original 1961 design and Meister extends a classic tradition born in the 1930s, Form is created to apply the same principles of clarity and sobriety of the Junghans language to shapes and proportions designed for a present-day audience.
The name itself — "Form" — declares the collection's intent: to demonstrate that minimalism and function can coexist with a softer, more contemporary signature than the almost-geometric rigor of the Max Bill line. The cases, often thinner than the catalogue average, and dials in matte tones such as anthracite or taupe, seek a balance between the brand's Bauhaus heritage and a warmer contemporary taste.
Within the collection different setups coexist: from three-hand models with calendar, designed for everyday use, to chronographs with multiple counters in the Chronoscope sub-line, designed for those seeking additional functions without giving up the sobriety typical of the brand.

Main Executions
Unlike Max Bill, tied to a specific designer, and Meister, born as a quality seal already in the 1930s, Form is a collection without a single declared author: its very name recalls a design principle — the pursuit of essential form — rather than the recognizable mark of a single creative figure.
